Rita Centeio is a Lisbon-based ceramic artist working between sculpture, collectible design and material research.

With a background in architecture, her practice explores geological processes, layered construction and the materiality of time through sculptural ceramic works.

Using layered clay bodies, engobes and wild materials, she creates ceramic landscapes shaped through accumulation, erosion and transformation.

Her work ranges from collectible objects to sculptural wall works and site-specific compositions for interiors and architectural spaces.
